Just after watching Wreck It Ralph after meeting with John Huikku during a seminar at Ballyfermot College. John was responsible for the Lighting and Look Development for the film's CG production.  I couldn't help but to do a quick sketch of Ralph and Vanellope.

Pigeon Character Designs

Some character designs of pigeons I completed last night for a film I'm directing called "SHOOT".  It tells the story about an Assassin who is out to kill the American President but he is distracted by a city pigeon who accidentally prevents him from completing his mission.   

Environment Concepts

Here are some environment designs I completed for a short movie called "Mass Appeal" which tells the story about Catholic Ireland in the 1980's.  Directed by John Corrigan, the film coveys hidden messages about the church teachings in Ireland in the most light hearted humor.  The environments were designed in accordance to the script.  I designed the buildings with slight distortion to reflect humor and charm to the village.  I applied a mixture of digital and traditional medium, along with texture mapping to give the scenes an  authentic look of rural Ireland.

1798 Rebellion

Hey, completing my first animation short film which I based on the 1798 Rebellion in Wexford, Ireland showing the build-up to the battle led by Fr. John Murphy. The short film is designed as a potential trailer for a large production, and who knows, someday it may well happen :)
